My lovely and talented previous employer, interior designer Shaun Jackson, just launched her website and it looks positively stunning! Shaun’s work includes a little bit of everything—-traditional projects (a historic McKim, Mead and White residence for example) to clean and modern (the homepage features a home built by prominent contemporary architect Deborah Berke). The portfolios on the website do a great job of demonstrating the wide variety of Shaun’s work. You may recognize the second portfolio from the cover of Elle Decor (Oct. ’07). Prior to opening her own firm in Rowayton, Connecticut, Shaun worked in Manhattan for architect Peter Pennoyer and his interior designing wife, Katie Ridder. I feel so fortunate to have had Shaun as a boss and mentor. I look forward to seeing what she does next!
