Ann Ziebell’s jewelry (profiled recently by Karen Nelson) is NEO-traditional through and through!  Formerly an antiques dealer, Ziebell began her costume jewelry line after stumbling across a magnificent 1930’s Austrian crystal shoe buckle in a tiny shop in St. Petersburg, Florida.  She said to herself, “this is something I can make modern” and set forth creating jewelry from refashioned Edwardian, Victorian and Deco broaches, buckles and fur clips which she attaches to weighty copper chains.  I just love the extravagant antique feel of the broaches contrasted with the tough, heavy chain—a modern twist indeed!  Ann Zibell jewelry ranges from $500 to $2,300 and can be purchased at
