Don’t you just love a good makeover? The New York Times just published this transformation of fashion publicist Sasha Haines-Stiles’ Brooklyn loft. The place was re-done on a $5,000 budget with the help of interior designer Mary L. Chan of Studio Bartleby. The result? Modern with a twist.

I love this space! Such high ceilings!
I’m moving into a studio in Washington, DC next month, and I think I’m definitely going to steal this bookshelf-as-room-divider idea!
