Of course the museums are fantastic but I love just walking and getting lost in Paris, then suddenly you stumble upon something new and wonderful. I don’t think you can ever know all of Paris’ secrets. :)

You know what I like about this shot? The red chimney tops that are the same color an Mexican roof tiles. Without that dot of color you might almost think the shot was in black and white.

I think I’ll make this my desktop photo for today.

Oh that’s just beautiful! I’ve never been to Paris, but I’m wanting to go more and more every day. Actually, my brother and sister-in-law (both pilots) just decided to take advantage of their occupation and they flew to Paris for a few days! I’m really quite jealous!

Kate — What I could give to jet off to Paris for a few days. What a life! You’ll visit someday for yourself and fall madly in love with the city. I think it’s impossible not to : )

Sigh. What a lovely print. :)
My favorite thing in Paris is sitting by the Seine in the Marais on a sunny day, snacking on some incredible bread and cheese. Of course, doing that same thing with my boy would be even better – someday!

the musée rodin is my favorite too! it’s a little off the main drag but the sculptures are so inspiring. i also climb the arc de triomphe every time i’m there — i know it’s dreadfully touristy but the views just can’t be beat!

Gorgeous pictures! My favorite thing is wasting an afternoon in the stacks at Shakespeare and Co., but coffee in cafes is a close second.

Oh la la, is there a character limit for the comments?
Seating in the cafe while that crazy traffic rush by, buy bread and bring the baggette hold by a tiny piece of paper, walk by the Seine, stop in one of the bridges and see the boats pass by full of tourists, eat crepes with Nutella à Montmartre, drool over the patisseries windows, thinking that this today I’ll see all in the Museums, the rooftops, the iron works in the balconies, those corner buildings, the churchs, get a map and visit the famous tombs at Pére Lachaise……………
I’ll finsh for now because I’m getting Paris sick. We’re having rain after some dreadfully warm days in Portugal, and Paris is lovely in the rain (too). And we cannot forget the people of Paris – from the Arab women to the very parisian Audrey riding the bycicle with a poodle in the basket :)

Such a beautiful picture. I love just wandering around the city – it is just beautiful. I would love to go back!

Musee Rodin is beautiful, however my favorite sopt was Pere Lechaise cemetary, back in the more wild unkempt areas. So peaceful and beautiful.

Parc des Buttes Chaumont in the 19th is a favorite – faux bois details, grottos, a lake, carousel and more. It’s totally charming. Can’t wait to go back at the end of this month!

    PS That’s an amazing photo!

I keep promising myself that someday I will see these in person. It will happen. And when it does, I might have to be dragged out of there.
