I love the home tours by Lauren Santa Domingo on Vogue.com and the latest of model Elettra Wiedemann’s West Village apartment does not disappoint. The rich hues of the living room are fantastic (love the brass lamps!) and I appreciate how everything is styled beautifully, yet casually.
Two lovely editors and two handsome photographers from Refinery29 came over to my tiny apartment yesterday to snap some pics of Alfred, Wallace and me. You can read all about it here! Thanks so much to the awesome Piera and her talented crew — what an honor!
One of the cutest San Francisco boutiques is having a fantastic sale, so naturally, I had to share the love. On April 30th, Conifer will open its doors to Gilt City members with a special in-store event. One ticket ($50) will include bubbly beverages and a $100 credit towards clothing, bags, shoes and jewelry. I have my eye on this silk dot pullover — does life get any sweeter? Tickets on sale through Tuesday :)
I just started to clear off this old bookcase (picked up at a thrift shop a few months back) so I can paint it. The light was nice so I snapped a few photos of my unruly shell collection before taking everything apart. This is only a very small glimpse of it. Someday, once I’ve finally finished decorating our little place, I’ll publish it somewhere so you can see the rest :)
P.S. Yes, Linda Rodin in Matchbook’s most recent issue is definitely a kindred spirit.
P.P.S. Want to know a little secret? That pretty flower on the left is faux! A gift from my friends at Diane James Home.
