If you’re on board with the tassel earring trend I thought you’d like to know about Beading Way. The Lithuania-based Etsy shop sells playful beaded earrings in a variety of fun colors. They’re a fraction of the cost of their high-end counterparts and the shop has hundreds of happy customers. The striped pair above would be fun for the holidays, while this navy blue pair would look flawless from day to night. Explore all of Beading Way’s designs here.
Know a little one that could use a cuddly friend? These plush animals handmade in Paris by Big Stuffed are almost too cute to be true. My favorite is the Big Grandpa Whale above, though the Bubble Whale is pretty handsome as well. They’d be so sweet wrapped in a bow under the Christmas tree! We need some new guest towels and dinner napkins for the holidays and these sweet monogrammed patterns by Hempstead Thread caught my eye. From bath towels to tote bags, the shop offers a wide range of items that can all be personalized with your choice of design (some of the best monogram options I’ve seen!) and thread color. How fun is this chinoiserie christmas ornament pattern for hostess gifts…? Explore all of Hempstead Thread’s designs here.
Looking for unique holiday gifts? I love these marbleized ceramics from Bisqit on Etsy. Made by hand in the Czech Republic, no two pieces are identical. The inside of the items are glazed while the outside is a handsome matte finish. Each piece is suitable for the microwave and dishwasher, making them equally practical and chic! A set of these tumblers would certainly be welcome under my Christmas tree. Explore all of Bisqit’s lovely designs here. READ POST
These sweet t-shirts by The Bee and The Fox stole my heart. The “Mama Bird” tee may be my first purchase when we get pregnant. After many disappointing delays due to my health (hypothyroidism is such a drag…), we are hoping to finally begin our first round of IVF at the end of the month. I’m nervous (never been a big fan of needles), but am so excited to get started creating our little miracle baby (this onesie made me laugh). If fertility issues are something you’d like to hear more about I’m happy to share more about our experience. Just let me know. Meanwhile, explore more of The Bee and The Fox’s cute t-shirts here.
I first stumbled upon The Basket Room on Etsy and was later delighted to spot their beautiful creations in person at London’s Pentreath & Hall. I brought home this pink basket and am already itching to add to my collection. Founded by two women in the UK in partnership with women’s weaving cooperatives in Africa, each unique basket is woven by hand. The company describes their goods as “ethical, stylish, accessories with a story.” Love the sound of that! From bicycle baskets to market totes, explore all of The Basket Room’s offerings here.
