Best of Etsy: Filly Dog

Looking for a fashionable bed for your four-legged friend…? I’m eager to place an order from Etsy’s Filly Dog for my little pug, Alfred. The Salt Lake City-based enterprise makes artisanal dog beds and collars in a variety of playful colors and patterns. My personal favorite is the bright pink, though Alfred might prefer the handsome blue and grey. Explore all of Filly Dog beds here.

Parisian Pug

Paris and pugs — you know I couldn’t resist! This old editorial from L’Officiel magazine is certainly canine chic. I keep asking Alfred if he would like to move to Europe and he gets terribly excited. I can already picture us taking afternoon walks along the Seine!

Alfred the Pug by Caitlin McGauley

This afternoon I came home to a custom portrait of my pug, Alfred, painted by the insanely talented Caitlin McGauley. I have been a fan of her watercolors for years and pretty much died of happiness. She really captured him, don’t you think? Thank you, Caitlin!

P.S. Be sure to check out her shop!
