Norman Parkinson in India

In 1956, fashion photographer Norman Parkinson travelled to India to shoot an editorial for British Vogue. He snapped models Anne Gunning and Barbara Mullen throughout the vast country, from the Taj Mahal to the Jaipur City Palace and beyond. The resulting images, shown here, inspired Diana Vreeland to famously proclaim that “pink is the navy blue of India.” The stunning architecture and landscapes in Parkinson’s photos have me terribly excited for my fall trip to Delhi, Jaipur, and Udaipur. Sezane’s New Home Accessories Collection

I stopped by Sezane while in Paris last weekend (remember their gorgeous summer style?) and the line to enter was around the block! Apparently their “sold out” inventory is the real deal. Sezane staffers were handing out sparkling lemonade and freshly baked madeleines to make the wait more pleasant (merci beaucoup!) and the goodness inside was worth the wait. This morning, the French brand has launched a new home accessories collection (known as “Sezane & Friends”) online complete with bedding, vases, beauty supplies, and more. The collection also includes collaborations with brilliant brands like Anoinette Poisson and Delfonics. Explore more of Sezane & Friends below and shop it here. READ POST
