The Line Pops-Up in Amagansett

If you’re a fan of the hip, minimalist The Apartment by The Line in Manhattan and Los Angeles you’ll be pleased to learn the lifestyle boutique has opened a summer pop-up in Amagansett. The seasonal Hamptons outpost looks to be just as chic as its urban counterparts, but with a beachy twist. I’m loving the exposed beams, clean lines, and splash of pink. Scroll down to see how you can channel a similar style in your own home. READ POST

The Best Memorial Day Sales

I hope everyone in America is looking forward to Memorial Day! As it’s not a holiday here in Copenhagen, I’ll be posting throughout the weekend (just in case you find yourself missing your daily dose of Neo-Trad). Some amazing sales have just begun and I’m tempted to do some serious online shopping for my summer wardrobe and our new apartment. Below are some of my favorites promotions. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend full of sunshine, BBQ, and loved ones! READ POST

Artist Spotlight: Kate Pugsley

I recently stumbled upon the work of Chicago-based artist Kate Puglsey (love the name, natch) on Etsy and am seriously coveting this print of one of her mixed media paintings (the subject’s ensemble is so chic). All of her work is lovely, as you can see, but the ones of the woman in the fur coat are my favorites (the Thelma and Louise is pretty brilliant too). Explore more of Ms. Puglsey’s work here. Best of Etsy: Casa Otomi

If you love colorful Mexican Otomi prints then you’ll want one of everything at Casa Otomi. The vibrant Etsy shop sells embroidered pillows, dresses, clutches, table linens, and more. I love the wide array of color options and the prices can’t be beat. Their embroidered Mexican dresses are especially perfect for summer. Below are some of my favorite picks (dreaming about all the things you could do with a big piece of the fabric—upholster a headboard, ottoman, or chair?). Explore all of Casa Otomi’s selection here.
