Luke Edward Hall’s Bedroom Makeover

My favorite contemporary British artist and designer, Luke Edward Hall, recently unveiled a makeover of the London bedroom he shares with his partner, Duncan Campbell (of the brilliant Campbell-Rey). The handsome bedroom was transformed as part of a collaboration between House & Garden UK and Farrow & Ball paints (Luke selected full gloss ‘Calke Green’ for the bedroom’s doors, trim, and closet). The playful scalloped mirror by Balineum and leopard print carpet are highlights. Looking for a touch of Luke’s style in your own home? Explore pieces from the artist’s recent collaboration with Anthropologie here. READ POST

A Chic, Pink Home by Kristen Panitch

I’ve been loving all things paisley lately, so when this home by Santa Monica-based decorator Kristin Panitch crossed my path, I jumped for joy (see the master bedroom at bottom!). I love the home’s balance of subtle neutrals with pretty pinks. Isn’t the chinoiserie wallpapered foyer above spectacular? Below, enjoy more of the home. Design Crush: Ware M. Porter

Another day, another Southern design talent. Today, I’m sharing the work of Ware M. Porter, an interior designer and shop owner based in New Orleans, Louisiana (which is, for the record, one of my favorite cities in all the world). As you can see, Ware’s home is absolutely stunning (those lacquered walls! those painted floors!) and his brick and mortar shop, Ware and Co., is equally grand. These shots were taken by the talented photographer Hector Manuel Sanchez (remember these?). Follow along on Ware’s adventures on instagram at @waremporter and @wareandco. READ POST
