Soho House Istanbul

Soho-House-Istanbul_hotel-11

I’ve been hearing whisperings about the Soho House Istanbul for what seems like ages now and at long last, the opulent members-only club, hotel, and spa is open for business. Built in Palazzo Corpi, a 19th-century mansion covered in original Italian frescoes, the space previously housed the U.S. Embassy in Turkey for 100 years. The newest Soho House includes a nightclub, restaurant, rooftop pool, and 87 hotel rooms (you don’t have to be a member to stay) in an adjacent glass annex that are, by the looks of it, impossibly chic. Saving my pennies for a ticket to Turkey…

My Future Home…

Someday I am going to retire in France and spend all day eating macaroons in my garden and when I do, I hope it will look something like this.  Can you even imagine?  The garden is so exquisite—I would gladly roll around in that grass like a puppy dog.  And don’t even get me started on that canopy bed…le sigh.
